Flow computers are devices designed for measurement of flow and heat steam, water and other liquid media and compensated flow of process gases based on measuring of flow and temperature and / or pressure. One flow computer of water and steam can calculate one or few measuring system for different applications.
FP40 is versatile and precise flow computer used for measurement of steam and water in various industrial installations, measurements of industrial gases and typical or special liquids (like glycol, supercooled water, oils) in heat exchange systems. There is possibility of local alarming or simple control implementation. Data are recorded and can be read locally or periodically using a USB mass storage device.
Device can communicate with master system via Ethernet port (Modbus TCP protocol, www server) or via RS-485 port (Modbus RTU protocol) and can work in distributed control systems.
Device may be configured by the user from the front panel or using commissioning software on PC.
FP4 is a modern, versatile and precise flow meter with internal data logging. Equipped with two analogue inputs (RTD, 4-20mA, voltage or resistive output transducers) and two PULS inputs (frequency measurement, pulse counting, binary signal tracking and recording), can measure flow and other values, such as temperature and humidity. In addition FP4 has two math channels and two totalizers assigned to each of the six available channels. All this in a device with a 4-inch touch screen.
